We’ll explore the fundamental differences between Bipolar Junction Transistors (BJTs) and Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistors (MOSFETs). While BJTs were the stars of the analog era, MOSFETs now dominate the digital world, with millions packed into every STM32 microcontroller. I’ll show you how they work as switches and amplifiers, and walk through real-world examples, including a constant current LED driver and how we use them on our own relay boards.
