Colibri Fallback is an digital output I/O module with one SPDT (single-pole, dual-throw) relay.

What about that name?

We have extensively used this in HVAC renovation projects, where the customer wants to keep the previous system in place, as an insurance against we going out of business, something breaks or in case the software goes haywire. So, we connect the valve to pin "b", the Colibri output signal on pin "a" and the old system's output signal on pin "c". We can remotely control if we want to swap over to previous system, or if the owners wants to do it, they just turn the Colibri system OFF.
